Solaria

A solarium must serve many uses apart from drying horses when they are sweating or have just been washed. The greatest advantage of a solarium is its proven beneficial effects over the horse’s general state of health:

• It has a relaxing effect and helps “loosen up” the whole muscular and tendinous system.
• It effectively helps in many therapies treating a very ample range of physical problems or pains.
• Horses can be washed down after work even in cold weather.
• It contributes to eliminating any excess of lactic acid and metabolic waste.
• It improves the flexibility and general fitness of horses.
• The development of bacteria is reduced and thus the risk of infection (coughing, influenza...).
• It improves blood flow and is extraordinarily useful for back problems and for animals that suffer constant pains.
• It is also beneficial for stallions’ fertility and the quality of mares’ ovulation.

In the first place, Lupa has selected a compact, tested, resistant, guaranteed and useful solarium. It is easy to install and comes in two models: FAVOURITE and SUPERIOR.

Characteristics of the FAVOURITE model:

• Built in 1.5-mm-thick aluminium
• Size: 195 x 120 x 40 cm.
• Fully built-in bulbs with a minimum risk for horses
• 2 fans to contribute to the air flow and quicken the drying process
• 5 infrared bulbs of 150 W. and 8 of 250 W.
• It includes 4 1-meter-long hanging-chains, power cord and plug.

Characteristics of the SUPERIOR model:

• Built in 1.5-mm-thick aluminium
• Rounded edges for higher safety.
• Size: 195 x 140 x 40 cm.
• Fully built-in bulbs with a minimum risk for horses
• 2 fans to contribute to the air flow and quicken the drying process
• 14 infrared bulbs of 150 W. and 4 of 250 W.
• It includes 4 1-meter-long hanging-chains, power cord and plug.

Both models can include the following “extras”:

• RAL 6009 coating (dark green hot-painting)
