LUPA IBERICA SA . has always believed that any business activity must be implemented with a great degree of responsibility and commitment. We want to be a company oriented towards our customers, who are the focus of all our activities, and renowned for the high added value and speed of our service, for our integrity and for the quality of our management. On our 25th anniversary we have decided to assert this commitment, spelling it out in the following principles: Ethical values are the essential and enduring principles of an organization. As such they do not require any external justification, since they are intrinsically important for all the company’s members. These are the basic and inalienable values which must guide our behaviour and course of action. They are the base upon which we build confidence within the company and which are reflected outward towards visitors, customers, suppliers and competitors.
Our four ethical values are: Integrity: irreproachable behaviour, together with rectitude and honesty. Transparency: appropriate, accurate, truthful and contrastable information about our activities and products. Responsibility. : we assume our responsibilities and act consequently. We have also learnt to, sometimes, say: no. Safetywe aim at the highest degree possible of safety in all our facilities, products and services, paying special attention to the protection of our staff, our customers and the environment. We have also outlined the four professional values upon which we base our competitive advantage. These values enable us to be in the lead and fulfil all our commitments with the highest quality standards. The following principles give us this competitive advantage and make us be highly regarded by all our competitors: Leadership. fostering a working environment based on our staff’s motivation, example, responsibility, participation and teamwork. Effort, improvement and good work:. with a flexible, agile and responsible management and a complete control over all processes. Quality and innovation. with a continuous desire to improve, making all information easily accessible to our customers, being open to innovations, and promoting technological development. Customer orientationanticipating all customers’ needs, fully intent on giving them the best service possible, and putting all our experience at their disposal. In the last few years, Para-equestrian sports have greatly developed throughout the world, and Dressage, in particular, is now practiced by many riders with different degrees of disability. In Spain, however, its development is being quite difficult.
In LUPA we very well know what effort means. We have now been working for 25 years, confronting great challenges, doing pioneer work and being fully committed to introduce a variety of solutions for the development of horses’ training, breeding and competition. Para-equestrian sports completely and exactly reflect the values ofeffort, improvement and good work which are our daily motivation, so, to help develop them we have decided to award a series of Grants for Para-equestrian riders. Beginning in 2011 and intended to be permanent, these Grants constitute our first external action of Corporate Social Responsibility.
The Grants are aimed at promoting the participation in this type of equestrian activity. They should serve as stimulus for Para-equestrian riders, encouraging them to compete and rewarding their dedication and personal effort.
